The department has decided that this information should be kept confidential due to security reasons.
This service is mainly handled under the following legislations:

  • Presidential election is handled under the Presidential Election Act, no15 of 1981.
  • Parliamentary election is handled under the Parliamentary Election Act No 1 of 1981.
  • Provincial council election is handled under the Provincial Council Election Act, no 2 of 1988.
  • Local Elections are handled under the Local Authorities Elections Ordinance.

Besides these elections, the Referendum is handled under Referendum Act No 7 of 1981
