Obtaining Housing Grants for Poorest of the Poor Families

Eligibility to Obtain a Housing Grant
Should be a Poor Family who cannot Afford a Housing Loan but with Housing Requirement. (Priority is given to Handicapped, Loss of property due to war or Families Living in Damaged Houses caused by Natural Disasters)

When Applying for a Housing Grant, Letters confirming the Necessity and Destitute position have to be submitted. These confirmation letters should be certified by Gramaseva Niladari and Divisional Secretary.
