Obtaining Preliminary Planning Clearance for Board of Investment Projects

Eligibility
Be a Sri Lankan / Foreigner / a registered local or foreign organisation

From where an application can be obtained?
Applications can be obtained from the UDA Head Office, Enforcement Division and the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka

Hours for submitting applications
Applications can be submitted during any week day between 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Application Fee
Free of Charge

Service Charge
Projects - Small Scale: less than Rs.5 Million=Rs. 10,000+ VAT+ NBT
Projects - Medium Scale: More than Rs.5 Million but less than Rs.50 Million= Rs. 50,000 + VAT + NBT
Projects - Medium Scale: more than. Rs.50 Million= Rs. 150,000 + VAT + NBT

Time taken to provide the service
About three weeks.

2.Sketch of the route to access the land
3.Recommendations from the relevant institutions
