Places From Where Application Form can be Obtained: Post Offices and Sub Post Offices

Fees Payable for Obtaining Application Forms: No fee is charged.

Hours for Submission of Application: From 9:00 a.m to 05:00 p.m.

Fees Payable for Obtaining the Service: Nil

Time Taken for Providing the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service)
Immediately on submission of the application

Supporting Documents Required: Birth Certificate of the minor child

Staff Officers in Charge of the Service

Exceptions or Instances Outside the Above Requirements and Special Information
Accounts of children up to years of age can be opened with the signature of the guardian and accounts of children from 07 to 16 years of age can be opened with the signature of the minor or the guardian concerned.
