Ensure the protection and welfare of migrant workers in order to achieve the Vision and Mission of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment, assist migrant workers returning to Sri Lanka due to illness or injury and renew registration of migrant workers.

Services provided from Airport Unit and Sahana Piyasa Welfare Center:

•     Renewal of registration
•     Provide assistance to migrant workers returning to Sri Lanka due to illness and injury
•     Provide facilities such as accommodation, transportation, food, medicine, travelling expenses to migrant workers returning due to issues at the workplace
•     Receive insurance claim forms and forwarding to the Head Office
•     Provide accommodation facilities to migrant workers who need accommodation before departure
•     Pay funeral expenses to families of migrant workers who have passed away abroad

Office Hours: 24 Hours

Required Documents:

•     For Registration: Passport, re-entry visa, old visa
•     To request for accommodation, transportation, food, medicine and travel expenses: Any document that can prove that the person has returned from abroad
