Eligibility

• Should be a Sri Lankan citizen or an institution comprising of Sri Lankan citizen
• Should be a acceptable small scale hydro electricity generating project or application for water usage for domestic Consumption

Method of Submitting Application: Submitting application to Divisional Secretariat/Provincial Land Commissioner/Land Commissioner General

Places Where Application Form Could be Obtained: There is no special application form. You can submit application prepared by yourself in the form of a letter.

Payment for Application: No fee is charged

Time to Submit Application: On any weekday during officers excepting govt holidays

Fees Paying to Obtain This Service:

• In the case of small Scale Hydro electricity generating project a charge at the rate of Rs: 25.00 per Horse power unite of annual generating of electricity
• For domestic corporation at the rate of Rs: 10.00 per annum

Period Taken to Provide the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service): Minimum 01 month

• Letter of application
• Consent of the line ministry
• Survey plan or approximate tracing (if available)
