The Government Information Center

Any person or artiste over 18 years who are engaged in creative work in Sri Lanka is eligible for submission of Painting, Sculpture, Landscaping, Canvas Drawings and Printing, Fresco copies., Portraits etc. Out of which one is allowed to display only 3 items for each category of the out of the lot for one item of the competition. Creations to be exhibited must possess good finish and worthy of presentation.

This contest has two rounds of selection. There is no special application forms. Selection of theme, size, original height, media, year of creation, monetary value, name of Artistes or Sculptors, Address, Age, Telephone Number etc. should be entered in details on an application form prepared by you and later forwarded for selection with clear photographs or CD for first selection. Unclear photographs or photographs with technical defects creations will not be considered for selection and different information and know-how on different creations must be attached along with the above details separately.

Creations can be handed over personally during weekly office hour or sent by registered cover addressed to Secretary, State Arts & Sculpture Panel, Arts Council of Sri Lanka, Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha, Colombo 07.

No fee will be levied for services rendered.

Director of Cultural Affairs, Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs, Asst. Director, will serve as Staff Officers in-charge.
Application form must be prepared by yourself as stated in Newspapers according to its details.
