• Seeking Public Corporation for Conservation of Monuments

Work relating to conservation of monuments will solely depend on the financial provision made available by the government.
Hence the annual action plan will be decided to suit the approved financial allocation. As such, monuments available in association with Buddhist and other religions places as well as outside such places in various parts of the country appear to be undergoing destruction rapidly.

Are there ancient monuments of archaeological value in your area or in the vicinity?
You may be a person who is vigilant about the historical heritage of your area. Have you identified any architectural structure of archaeological value in your area or in the suburb. Do you think it needs any reconstruction or are you aware of its legal position? In such instances it is our responsibility to advice you in the matter and extend our cooperation.

In case any Bhikkhu, priest, non-government organization, foreign government, any voluntary organization or a civil citizen is prepared to offer material help for conservation of monuments, we are bound to provide skilled labour and supervision for same.

Inculcating awareness in professional and other knowledge seekers in ancient traditional technology, techniques of conservating monuments, playing, reporting, landscaping of ancient historical sites, human and environmental impact on monuments and impact control Providing consultancy and technical services to owners of hours and buildings which are more than 100 years old in order to enable them to maintain them in a manner archaeological value of such buildings is safeguarded .

Charges approved by the department will apply to every copy of plan you obtain.
