Process of Obtaining the Service

Places from Where Application can be Obtained: By sending a letter to Director General in meteorology or by visiting the office to negotiate.

Fees Payable for Obtaining the Applications: Nil

Hours for Submitting Applications: Between 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. on working days of the week.

Fees Payable for Obtaining the Service: Decided in consultation with the relevant Director / Deputy Director.

Time Taken for Providing the Service (Ordinary service and Priority service): Decided according to the nature of the activity.

Supporting Documents Required: Technical report of the equipment should be provided wherever possible and the activity to be covered should be clearly stated.

Exceptions for instances outside the above requirements and special information
The job is undertaken according to the subtlety of the equipment. Transport facilities should be provided whenever necessary.
