No special qualifications required.

Any land owner could get their land/lands registered in the “Land Bank”.

Procedure for Submitting of Applications
The application form needs to be filled only in English language.

• Forward by hand or Post to the following Address
  

Engineering Approvals and Special Projects Department,
Board of Investment of Sri Lanka,
Level 19, West Tower, World Trade Centre,
Echelon Square, Colombo 01.

• Through the website of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka. (www.investsrilanka.com)

Select “Business Guide” submenu from the BOI web site.
Insert the details of the lands into the “Land Bank”.

Time Allotted for Submitting of Application
From 8:30 am to 4:00 Ppm on public working days.

Service Charges : No fees charged

Time taken to Provide Services (General and priority services)
Registration of lands in the “Land Bank” could be done within one day.

Required Documents
A Survey Plan of the land (only if available) needs to be submitted along with the application.

Staff Officers in-charge of Services (To hand over applications and obtain advices)

Exceptional and Special Circumstances
Details of lands and Owners of lands (both individuals and organizations) registered in the “Land Bank” will be made available to investors as and when inquiries for land are made.
