Nature of the services
Radio programmes produces by Farm Broadcasting Service of the Department of Agriculture are broadcasted through Sri Lanka Broadcasting Cooperation’s channels. listeners may organize as ‘’listener societies’’ and keep contact with the service. Farmers may contact live programmes for their questions/ contribution. ?(refer the programme list broadcasted by units of the FBS)
These telekasting programmes can be listen through web radio.

Process of submitting request
Request by letter, email, over the phone or visit the units/ FBS head office

Time of submitting the request
during office hours in working days (8.30am- 4.15pm)

Fees payable to obtain the service
Free of charge Staff officers in charge of the service
