Rehabilitation and Re-socialization of Children directed by the Courts-of -Law On Court Orders

There are three certified schools (for boys/girls) in operation within the Western Province for the rehabilitation of children, who are directed by the Courts-of-Law to be rehabilitated under the basis of maximum of three years. The details related to children rehabilitated like that in years 2008/2009 are stated below.

Proposed Programme - 2010


Measures would be taken in year 2010 to upgrade general education facilities provided to these children and while providing more opportunity for professional education and training, action would be taken to direct them towards self employment avenues.
