This is a special programme implemented by the Department of Probation and Child Care Services for children in respect of the Right for education.

For whom is this peogramme?

�

Children who have lost their parents or Guardians in the armed forces, village Guardians or other civilians.
Orphaned or Destitute children due to Natural Disaster.
Children who could not pursue threat education or develop their talents due to economic hardship
Children who are in need of financial assistance consequent to economic hardship or other reasons.

How to apply

�

Applications have to be submitted to the commissioner of Probation and Child Care Services by the Child Rights Promoting Officer attached to the Divisional Secretariat concerned, together with a copy of the birth certificate and the recommendation of the Head of the School.
