The department of Probation and childcare Services has been providing assistance for the department of infrastructure facilities required for rehabilitation of children living in children’s homes, throughout Sri Lanka. The department has been allocating financial provisions, annually to the management of their homes through Provincial commissioners. Similarly, the Department has been assisting this project in collaboration with two Non-governmental organization, under the concept of rehabilitation of street children ,financial assistance, instructions and guidance have been provided for development work in Borella and the other in Kandy, maintained for street children.
