Programme for Financial Assistance for Twins

This programme is implemented for the welfare of children in low income families.

Particulars about children and their families have to be given to the Child Rights Promoting Officer in the Divisional Secretariat concerned, within 3 months of the Birth of Twins.� Also certificate confirming the family and income particulars should be obtained from the Grama Niladari or the Samurshi Development Officer of the area, in which the parents and the child live of the Child Rights Promoting Officer and the Divisional Secretary concerned.

Programme for Payment of Medical Assistance

This programme is implemented for the benefit of the children under 18 years of age, in law income families, financial assistance is given monthly for various ailments and also for surgery. Particulars of children for whom assistance is sought, have to be submitted� to the Child Rights Promoting Officer together with relevant medical reports.

The Grama Niladhari or Samurdhi development Officer in the area, has to certify the per mend  residence and the income of family . The application has to the submitted to this department with the recommendation of the Child Rights Promoting Officer and the Divisional Secretary concerned.
