The Government Information Center

The programme is meant for the school leavers, who neither attend higher educational activities nor willing to have formal job attachments. The programme is conducted based on Divisional Secretariat area.

Objective of the Programme

1.     To empower the unemployed youths in finding suitable job.

2.     To introduce suitable / proper employment sector.

3.     To promote freelance jobs by awareness creation and coordination works.

Selection Criteria

A.   Must be a job seeker in the Divisional Secretariat area.

B.    Age limit 18 - 35 years.

C.    40 beneficiaries are selected for the programme.

Contents of the Programme

1.     Building up of positive thinking.

2.     Management of Life Plan (Vision of the Life).

3.     Employability development (Practical exercises).

4.     Out bound activities.

5.     Awareness creation of employment sector.

6.     Awareness creation of Freelance Jobs.

7.     Presentation on Private sector Organizations.
