The Construction Division undertakes all types of heavy and light Civil Engineering construction works and building construction works for the government and private sector.  Every construction project undertaken by the Construction Division comes under the purview of Deputy General Manager (Construction) who is a Chartered Engineer.  All the large scale projects are handled by the experienced Chartered Engineers and the other projects are implemented by the qualified Engineers or Engineering Assistants with Technical Officers.

The works under taken by the Construction Division

Construction of buildings, roads, bridges, culverts, earth retaining structures, harbours & anchorage etc & implementation of surface water drainage & sewerage disposal projects.

The Sri Lanka Standards Institution Certifies that the quality management system of Sri Lanka Land Reclamation & Development Corporation has been assessed and approved in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008/SLS ISO 9001:2008 which is  valid up to 05.04.2014 and scope of certification are construction of Buildings & Civil Engineering works, improvement of lands and drainage and associated infrastructure development works.
