School Leavers who have their own plantations

OBJECTIVES :

To lay down the foundation and provide training in theoretical, technical and managerial aspects of Plantation Agriculture towards producing competent estate managers.

  • Introduction to Plantation Industry and Plantation Culture/Environment
  • Applied Botany and Plantation Agriculture Tea Agronomy
  • Tea Manufacture and Factory Management
  • Rubber Agronomy and Manufacture
  • General Management
  • Social Development and Quality of Work Life
  • Quality Aspects in Organizations and Marketing Management
  • Accounting, Financial Management and Information Technology

Duration

Three (03 ) months - Theory (Full time) Three (03 ) months - Practical (Optional)

Evaluation

(a) Written Test

(b) Oral Test

Course Fee

Rs. 85,000/- per participant (inclusive of lectures, practicals and training materials etc.)

Rs. 60,000 if the participants are following the practical training as well
