Sending Gift Parcels to a Foreign Country Through Mail

  • Gift parcels, not exceeding 30 kg and not in commercial quantity or commercial nature are permitted to send abroad after the inspection of the customs officers and relevant charges being collected by the officers of the postal department at the Central Mail Exchange in D.R. Wijewardena Mw., Col. 10 or any other Post office having Customs facility.
  • If you want to send the parcel in Express Mail, the parcel should be submitted to the Express Mail Counter(EMS) and the same procedure will be followed.
