Eligibility
- Applicant should have a valid license with Valid Time duration and Valid information.
- Applicant should conform to the Licensing conditions.

Note:
- If the license period is expired, a letter for extension should be provided with valid reasons for the delay.
- If the invoice value exceeds the license value, an application should be submitted to enhance the value.

Procedure
Step 1: Applicant submits all the necessary Support Documents.
Step 2: Unit 1 checks all the Support Documents with the license detail.
Step 3: If the applicant has not abided by the license conditions, debit the imported goods in the license with the approval of the Assistant Controller.
Step 4: Credit documents are given to the applicant. One copy is kept with the department for office use.
Note:
If the Applicant has not abided by the licensing conditions, the Assistant Controller charges additional licensing fee.
If the import value exceeds the licensing value due to any reason, any additional fee is charged from the applicant with the approval of the Import/Export Controller.
If the import period does not tally with the license validity period, the applicant has to request for an amended license by a request letter.
If the import goods do not tally with license goods, amended license should be obtained.

Costs Related to the Service
Cost: No cost is involved in obtaining the application form.
Fee: No fee related to the service
Penalties :Additional will be charged from the offenders of the license conditions. Additional fee vary from case to case and the amount of additional fee will be decided by the Assistant Controller.
Note: If the Applicant has imported goods without any license additional fee is charged.
Surcharge : If the invoice value exceeds the licensing value the department levies difference license fee for the amount in excess.
Special Cases
If the Importation is done without a license, a Goods Received License is issued with an additional fee Following documents are needed to obtain Good Receive License
