Obtaining Preliminary Planning Clearance for Change of Use

Eligibility
Owner or User of the land/ property

From where an application can be obtained?
Applications can be obtained form UDA Head Office, Enforcement Division and all the Provincial Offices of the UDA free of charge.

Hours for submitting applications
Applications can be submitted during any week day between 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Service Charge
Processing fee according to no. of square metres
For 1 square metre in mixed residential zones and other zones =Rs.800.00+VAT + NBT
For 1 square metre in Special Primary Residential zones =Rs.2000.00+VAT + NBT

Time taken to provide the service
About 3 weeks

Supporting documents required
1.Survey plan, Building Plan and certificate of conformity
2.Copy of the National Identity Card of the property owners
3.Plan showing car parkings
