Eligibility

Process of Submitting Applications

Places From Where Application can be Obtained: Post Offices and Sub Post Offices

Fees Payable for Obtaining Application Forms: No fee is charged

Hours for Submitting Applications: From 09.00 a.m. to 15.00 p.m.

Fees Payable for Obtaining the Service: Nil

Time Taken to Providing the Service (Ordinary and Priority Service): 07 days

Supporting Documents Required

  1. Birth certificate of the minor child
  2. National Identity Card or letter certifying identity of the guardian

Exceptions or Instances Outside the Above Requirements and Special Information
When application for withdrawals from minors’ account are submitted to Post/Sub Post Offices, payment will be made on the approval of the National Savings Bank Headquarters.
