Eligibility: Settlement of funeral expenses in respect of death occurred due to natural disaster

Process of Submitting Applications: Immediately often the death takes place by natural disaster, next of kind/ kinds should inform Grama Niladhari of the area in writing

Places From Where Application can be Obtained: No specific application form, but the next of kin should made a written application by himself together with copy of a death certificate.

Fees Payable for Obtaining Application: Not applicable

Time of Which Application should be Submitted: Soon after the death take place due to disaster

Fees Payable for Obtaining Service: Not applicable

Time Taken to Provide the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service): With in one day from receipt of recommend of the District Secretary

Exception or Instances Deviation From the Above Requirement and Special Information:
Where the funeral arrangements are made by Divisional Secretary in respect of bodies of those who die. As a result of disaster, the funeral expenses cannot be paid to the relatives
