  1. Preparation of Requisition order books and handing them over for printing.
  2. Providing data on printing requirements of textbooks to the Production Unit.
  3. Typesetting and formatting (computerizing) the textbooks compiled in the Development Unit.
  4. Entering data on distribution into the data base and providing data on quantity and type of textbooks for distributing to the Distribution Unit.
  5. Providing data on the quantity of the textbooks already distributed and the cost of them to the Financial Unit.
  6. Maintaining the department website by constantly updating it.
  7. Uploading textbooks to department web-site (www.edupub.gov.lk)
