Obtaining Notary license

.Notary license can be obtained by articled clerks and lawyers sworn at the supremecourt.
Applications can be obtained from the Department.
Documents should be submitted
1. Lawyers
  1. Duly perfected declaration
  2. Photocopy of the original of the certificate of law certified by an officer of the Department
  3. Fee can be paid in cash at Registrar General’s Department or should attached bank receipt which deposit fees to account No. 7041650 of Registrar General’s account through any branch of Bank of Ceylon Rs. 2000.00
2. Articled clerks
  1. Request letter
  2. Fee can be paid in cash at Registrar General’s Department or should attached bank receipt which deposit fees to account No. 7041650 of Registrar General’s account through any branch of Bank of Ceylon
