ATPL Issuance

Eligibility :

Not less than 21 years of age

Completion of technical examinations

Completion of CAASL medical examination

Experience: -Flying Hours ( As per ICAO Annex 1)

a. Total 1500hrs

b. 500hrs as PIC US or 250 hrs as PIC

c. 200 hrs of “X: country (100 hrs as PIC or US)

d. 75 hrs of Instrument (Maximum ground time 30)

e. 100 hrs of Night flying as PIC or FO

Method of Submitting Application:- By hand

Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka or Civil Aviation Authority web site www.caa.lk

Payment for application:- 2286.00 LKR 4.1.2.3

Time to submit application:- 08.30 a.m. – 3 30 p.m. Working Days

Fees paying to obtain this service:- 8576.00 LKR

Period taken to provide the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service) :Three days after completing all the requirements

Necessary supporting documents :- Duly completed application form (CAA/PL/I/04) , Log Book copies of last Three pages, Training Reports, Medical Certificate issued by CAASL Medicalboard & Two copies of stamp size photographs.
