Handicraft Sales Promotion Programme

The National Craft Council organizes fairs at various times during the year with the
objective of protecting the producer from middle men by making the procedures to meet
the customers directly, to facilitate a good local market for handicrafts and to raise the
standard of living of craftsmen through that.

Foreign Marketing Facilities


Handicraftsmen are directed to take part in various trade fairs and exhibitions to
familiarize hem with international marketing practices and to propagate our products.
Accordingly, the opportunity arose to send our craftsmen to India as well as to conduct
some mutual craftsmen exchange programme with India
