Rs 500 ( Per Year Rs. 6000 ) – On Court orders, for children under 16 years of age

Sisumina Aid

• From year 1 to year 11, Rs.500 per month - On the recommendation of the�Probationary Officers
• From year 12 to year 13, Rs. 1000 monthly for a year - On the recommendation of the Probationary Officers (For Children attending school)

Basic Requirements needed to apply for Sisumina Sholarships

1. Demise of mother/father /both mother and father of the student applying for Sisumina Aid.
2. Desertion of the student applying for Sisumina Aid by mother/father /both mother and father.
3. The sole bread winner of the family becoming invalid to a level of not being able to earn an income.
4. With the letter of request the documents mentioned below should be forwarded.
   • Death Certificate. ( If Parents are dead)
   • A certified copy of the Police report stating desertion.
   • Certificate of the Grama Niladhari
   • Birth Certificate of the Child .
   • Principal's Certificate stating that the child is studying� at the school
