Acquisition of Roads

For the purpose of effective development work of any road the pradeshiya sabha should acquired such roads. In acquiring a road pradeshiya sabha itself will take necessary action to do so in collaboration with the residents on either side of the road.
Similarly residents along the road too can voluntarily transfer the land to the pradeshiya sabha. In this connection residents along the road should submit a written request with their signatures.
Then after passing if in the sabha by means of a resolution pradeshiya sabha will take action to survey the road, to call for objection and to pursue other necessary action.
