National Productivity Award Ceremony-Annual basis

The first National Productivity Competition was held in 1993 and since then. On an annual basis organizations were recognized for excellence in Productivity. Since the inception of this competition in 1993 the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) has conducted the competition annually. The National Productivity Secretariat (NPS), Which was established under Ministry of Industrial Development, conducted the competitions among government ministries and Schools since 2000. From 2002 on wards the NPS, which comes under the Ministry of Labour Relations and Foreign Employment (MLR&FE) , has been conducted the competitions for manufacturing and services sector, Public sector and School sector.
