When facts are forwarded to the Courts of Law regarding child offenders and child victims, the reports relevant to the criminal law are presented to the Courts by the Department, whereas the social reports regarding these children should be presented to the Courts by the Probation Officers. The Court takes into consideration the police report as well as the social report prior to reaching into a decision regarding these children. Proposed Programme - 2010 By creating a proper coordination programme among all officials and institutions which function in connection to child offenders and child victims, action will be taken in year 2010 to speed up the court activities related to these children.
