Process of Submitting Applications

Places From Where Applications can be obtained: Applications can be obtained from the Piliyandala Public Library.

Fees Payable for Obtaining Application
Piliyandala Public Library should be paid Rs.5.60 for an application.
For application Rs:5.00
Vat - Rs. 0.60

Hours for Submitting Application
After making payments to the Kesbawa Urban Council on week days between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Week days except Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Charges to be Paid for Service
A membership fee of Rs.100.00 for an adult for two years and Rs.50.00 for school children and for those engaged in higher studies, should be paid.

Time Taken for the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service)
Membership can be obtained within an hour after making the payment with the completed Membership Application.

Supporting Document Required
Perfecting the membership application, if a student, the seal of the school and the signature of the teacher/principal.
Grama Seva Niladari should sign the application confirming the residency. Also, a person who pays assessment tax should sign as a guarantor.

Public Library - Kesbawa

Eligibility:

1. A permanent resident in the Kesbawa Urban Council area (Grama Sewaka should place his signature and seal on the application.)
2. For students,the principal should place his signature and seal on the application

Fees Payable for Obtaining Application: Rs.5.60

Hours for Submitting Application
Payment of fees on working days: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Submission of application 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Charges to be Paid for the Service

 Time Taken for the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service): 25 minutes.

Supporting Document Required
A person who pays assessment tax to the Urban Council should sign as a guarantor and a receipt issued for the payment of tax should be produced along with the application.
