Introduction to the Programme

The programme is organized as a career promotion course for the youths, who are willing to have a self- employment opportunity.

Objective of the Programme

1. To provide them theoretical & practical knowledge on mobile phone repairing.

2. To build up links with service providers for the trainees while they are getting trainings.

Activities of the programme

a. Awareness creation on spare parts and utilities for the beneficiaries and send them to the market to purchase goods for business purpose at a minimum cost.

b. Awareness creation on how to do mobile phone repairing as a business.

c. To register them and provide a certificate after successfully completing the training.

 Selection Criteria

1. Numbers of 30 participates per programme.

2. All districts are covered in the island.

3. Beneficiaries are identified by the Human Resource Development Assistants attached to Divisional Secretariats.
