Nuwara Eliya, ‘City of Light’, was once a summer resort for the British. Even today the city keeps its colonial hill station atmosphere. The country-style houses, large gardens, race course, and weather continue to make the town a vacation hot spot. Nuwara Eliya is also one of Sri Lanka’s main market gardening centers.

The Nuwara Eliya National Holiday Resort is situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Gregory, at the foot of Pidurutalagala. Four types of accommodation are on offer. With 58 beds, we can offer a fun and comfortable stay for the whole family.
