1. NVQ Level 5 qualifications in the relevant technology area
   or
2. Any other diploma of at least one year full time or eqivalent part time, in the relevant technology area, with two (02) years of post diploma industry/teaching experience in the relevant field acceptable to the Academic Council of UNIVOTEC
   
   NVQ Level 6 or higher diplomas/degrees may be granted credit excemptions
