Objectives To disseminate information and counseling for unemployed jobseekers. It is setup at the head office in Colombo. Activities ü To give career guidance services for job seekers. ü Registering the beneficiaries. ü To gather employment data and disseminate to the required persons. ü To provide technical facilities to prepare applications and internet facilities for job seekers. ü To provide opportunity to look in vacancy details in the newspapers and gazettes. ü To provide display and exhibition facilities by the career guidance division. ü To do self assessment and to do an evaluation through computer. (talents, interests, multiple knowledge test) ü To direct beneficiaries for trainings, employment opportunities and educational opportunities. ü To publish special written articles, namely “Netha Rendunu Puwath”
